 Main ObjectivesDesigning all wiring and mechanical aspects of company products and creating relevant specifications provided by Design Engineering and supporting the design and layout of PCB designs and the Manufacturing and Production Engineering teams.  Key responsibilities
  • Producing and supporting the electro mechanical design of company products.
  • Producing assembly and piece part information.
  • Working with Manufacturing to ensure both designs and supporting documentation are robust and minimises the risk of assembly error.
  • Generating parts information and parts lists within the company database.
  • Maintaining the company documentation system.
  • Producing system schematics and wiring diagrams and schedules.
  • Providing 3D Modelling to the DCC team and others.
  • Keep informed and support IS09001 Quality and IS014001 Environmental requirements and improvement activities.  Commit to achieving the Company business, Quality and Environmental objectives and policies.
  Skills, knowledge and experience
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in relevant mechanical/electrical engineering discipline ideally with high voltage principles.
  • Proven expertise and experience in electro mechanical engineering environment or similar.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • High proficiency in CAD and 3D packages for mechanical design (AutoCAD and Inventor distinct advantages).
  • Modern manufacturing techniques.
