Shorterm Group are currently seeking a Composite Inspector for one of our key customers in the automotive and motorsport sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect components to ensure conformity to drawing specifications.
* Collaborate with operators and quality teams to address concerns and non-conformances.
* Use hand measurement tools, FARO arm, and CMM.
* Work with the Quality Manager to maintain and integrate the Quality Management System and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
* Potential travel for project-specific work.
Key Requirements:
* Good communicator, both written and spoken.
* Engineering degree, apprenticeship, or relevant industry experience in composites.
* Knowledge of hand-based inspection or a willingness to learn.
* Experience troubleshooting and solving production issues.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with CMM programming, PC-DMIS, Polyworks, and Faro scanning hardware.
