Astute's Renewables team are partnering with a well-established and leading Food Manufacturer, that service the UK and European markets, with quality and service at the forefront. We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for their Pulborough site.
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role comes with a salary of circa 42,000, working a shift rotation of (Apply online only) 4on/4off. Plus, company benefits and free onsite parking.

Responsibilities and duties
As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will:
- Complete PPM and reactive breakdown maintenance on manufacturing/ industrial/ FMCG machinery to maximise equipment performance.
- Conduct electrical fault-finding with quick response and rectification.
- Perform activities on 3-phase and single-phase power.
- Perform activities on motors, pumps, metal detectors, ultrasonic cutters, flow wrappers and packaging equipment etc.
- Other duties as required.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Time served, or engineering qualifications.
- 17th/18th edition wiring regulations.
- Previous experience maintaining industrial machinery, ideally within FMCG.
- Experience with welding is desirable.
Personal skills
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role would suit someone who is:
- Knowledgeable of both electrical and mechanical duties, with a bias to electrical.
- Hands on and enjoys getting stuck in.
