Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Chef (Parrillero) to join our team at 4 Locos. The Grill Chef is responsible for the preparation and cooking of all grilled items on our menu, ensuring consistent quality, flavour, and presentation. This role requires a strong understanding of grilling techniques, food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently within a team. Even if you are unfamiliar with our specific Argentine grilling techniques, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about learning and eager to master the art of the parrilla.

Responsibilities:

  • Expertly prepare and cook all grilled items on the menu, focusing on premium cuts of meat using traditional Argentine grilling techniques (parrilla).
  • Maintain consistent quality, flavour, and presentation of all grilled dishes.
  • Ensure optimal grill temperatures and manage the cooking process for various cuts of meat.
  • Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Partie and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized grilling station.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Grill Chef (Parrillero) or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of grilling techniques
  • Knowledge of different cuts of meat and their appropriate cooking methods.
  • Ability to maintain consistency and quality under pressure.
