The role of Commercial Property Manager offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity to manage a broad range of commercial properties, from industrial estates to multi-let office buildings. You'll play a key role in ensuring the effective operation of the commercial portfolio, fostering positive tenant relationships, and overseeing maintenance and budgets.Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Manager:

Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties including offices, retail units, industrial estates, and mixed-use developments.
Conduct regular property inspections, identifying and reporting on maintenance needs.
Prepare and administer service charge budgets, ensuring accurate reconciliations.
The Commercial Property Manager will assist with credit control, pursuing outstanding payments promptly and professionally.
Instruct and liaise with contractors, consultants, and specialists for maintenance works, planned preventative maintenance and risk assessments.
Build strong relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
Liaise with clients on building management issues, seeking instructions and overseeing necessary works.
Collaborate with joint agents to facilitate property lettings and lease renewals.

Skills and Experience of the Commercial Property Manager:

Previous experience managing commercial property portfolios is highly desirable (experience in residential property management can also be considered).
Proficiency in property management software systems.

Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
Familiarity with Tramps property management software is ideal, but not essential.
