An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Radlett, Hertfordshire. This welcoming and well-resourced school caters for children with additional needs, with a particular focus on Autism, and offers a nurturing environment where both staff and pupils are supported to thrive.

This role will initially begin on a temporary basis, with the strong possibility of becoming permanent after the first term.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Passionate about delivering creative, differentiated lessons tailored to each pupil's needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach small groups of pupils in Years 3 to 6, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Build a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children with Autism
  • Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to ensure high-quality support and consistency
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, setting achievable goals based on individual starting points
  • Contribute to the wider school community and play an active role in shaping specialist provision in Radlett, Hertfordshire
