Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical Installation Engineer with experience in EV (electric vehicle) car charging installations to join our client's team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and testing of electric vehicle charging stations at commercial and industrial sites, ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and maintain EV car charging units at commercial and industrial sites.
- Ensure all installations comply with current electrical safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct testing and inspections to ensure the correct operation of EV charging systems.
- Provide technical support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns with their EV charging equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure installations are completed on time and to the highest standard.
- Ensure all work follows strict health & safety protocols and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electrical installations, specifically with EV car charging systems.
- 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, Gold ECS Card, and any EV-specific qualifications (e.g., EV Installer qualifications).
- Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and compliance.
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial electrical installations.
