CNC Turner

We have been instructed by one of our manufacturing clients in Rainham, Essex to support in their recruitment of a CNC Setter / Operator.

You will be responsible for setting / operating the CNC machines in the machine shop to support the manufacture of components for the business.

The successful candidate will have experience of using a Lathe.

Shift patterns are: 6:00am-2:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, or 7:00pm-5:30am

Responsibilities:

- Setting and operating CNC mills (Fanuc, Siemens, HAAS)

- Carrying out daily quality checks using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometres, gauges)

- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with work instructions

Skills & Experience needed:

- Experience of CNC turning 

- Ability to read technical drawings

- Attention to detail
