Senior Moulding Process Technician

Location: Rainham, Essex

SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Robert Bosch, Caterpillar and YASA.

We are recruiting for the position of a Senior Moulding Process Technician. This is a hands-on role where you will provide technical process support to deliver robust injection moulding manufacturing.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Installing moulds and mould inserts into machines according to work order specifications and in a safe and timely manner
  • Processing moulding parameters to achieve quality parts and optimized cycle times
  • Using troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable moulding processes
  • Responsibility for the continuous operation of production equipment & tooling including maintenance where applicable

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge in Plastic injection moulding technologies, mould tool design and process development
  • Specific experience with Arburg and Battenfeld moulding machines is advantageous
  • Problem analysis, fault finding on injection mould tools and equipment
  • Driven and self-starting
  • Disciplined and logical approach to goal setting and problem solving

Work pattern:

Monday to Friday - days
