About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to become part of our team. Your main responsibility will be to conduct Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant testing on various components, ensuring that all work complies with industry and company standards. You will also be tasked with maintaining equipment, managing testing materials, and assisting in the development of operational procedures. Main Duties:

  • Carry out Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant inspections on components.
  • Perform routine operational checks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Keep track of testing materials and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
  • Ensure all testing equipment is well-maintained and functioning efficiently.
  • Maintain an organised and clean workspace in line with 5S principles.
  • Collaborate with the SOP Engineer to help develop and refine standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with routine and preventative maintenance on machines when needed.
  • Strictly follow all standard practices, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance and internal quality requirements.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Qualification for Magnetic Particle Inspection.
  • Qualification for Dye Penetrant Inspection.

Experience Needed:

  • Hands-on experience working in an NDT environment.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting manufacturer manuals.
