We are working with an incredible client based near the South East Coast looking to take on a new Senior Events Manager as part of expansion. This role requires a proactive and creative event manager with extensive experience in wedding planning and event management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure that every wedding and event is a memorable and seamless experience for their clients. The Senior Event Manager will lead by example and work closely with couples, vendors, FOH teams and the internal events and office team to deliver exceptional service throughout.

Job Specification:

Weddings/Events Management

? Develop detailed event timelines, schedules, and checklists for the team to ensure all aspects of the wedding or event are meticulously planned

? Coordinate with internal departments including catering, beverage, maintenance and cleaning team to ensure event details are aligned and all areas are suitably prepared

? Organise and ensure all operational amenities are in place for pre-event meetings to ensure all parties are aligned

? Delivering events to the highest standard, ensuring the venue is always exemplary, with an excellent attention to detail

? Provide appropriate solutions to any issues that arise during the event, ensuring minimal disruption to the guests and the couple

? Monitor all processes to ensure legal, safety, and operational standards are met

? Liaising with the head chef to finalise food details and the punctual timing of events

? Innovative and proactive in creating new and memorable events, following implemented business plans.

Skills and experience

? At least two to five years of professional experience in wedding or event management preferred

? A sound knowledge of the wedding and event industry preferred

? A customer-centric business outlook - combining strategic thinking with hands-on skills

? Excellent communication skills in English is a must; other European languages are an asset

? Familiarity with local vendors and service providers

? Exceptional organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills

? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software

? Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams

? Ability to work under pressure, handle tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines

? You have robust budget management and analytical skills

? You can identify, summarise, and report on trends, concerns, and potential solutions
