Job Title - Kitchen Assistant
Location - Ramsgate, Kent
Salary - £11.44 Per Hour
Job Types - Temporary
Schedule - Monday 30th September 2024 to Friday 25th October 2024
Hours - 09:00am - 14:30pm
We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to work for one of our clients, who is an educational provider based in Ramsgate. In this role, you will be working 09:00am - 14:30pm, on a temporary basis, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing ingredients and simple meals.
- Help serve meals to students and staff.
- Wash utensils, equipment, and kitchen surfaces.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies.
- Dispose of food waste and recyclables properly.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist other staff and fill in as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Physical endurance to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy trays or equipment, and perform repetitive food preparation and service tasks.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Must have good time management and organisational skills
Requirements
- MUST have an Enhanced DBS that was issued within the last three years
- Must have previous experience within the catering industry.
