Role Summary:
Working within the fresh produce sector, you will provide strong leadership by motivating and supporting a team of Multi-Skilled Operatives (MSO’s) to achieve outstanding service levels, delivering productivity targets whilst prioritising and maintaining the highest standards of Health & Safety in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Due to the location of our client, you will need to have your own transport.
You will work a 4 on 2 off rota after completion of training. This role will predominantly be front shift hours, but you will also work a 3-month period on back shift on a rota basis.
Due to the 4 on 2 off rota, in annual working hours this leaves a deficit, which means there are 16 additional shifts in a year that will need to be filled to complete the contractual requirements. These will be used to cover absence and holiday throughout the year. You will be given notice for these shifts and will be given a choice of dates.

You will communicate effectively with your team of Multi Skilled Operatives, as well as other supporting functions, such as the Transport team, and internal customers. When the day starts, so does your attention to safety, encouraging, supporting and challenging behaviours to deliver a safe working environment. A positive approach to a fast-moving operation is essential, with the ability to follow SOP’s, problem solve and identify risks and costs to the business.
