Key Responsibilities as a History Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Utilise diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
  • Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation.

Requirements for the Role of History Teacher:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver the History curriculum effectively.
  • Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
