GSL Education is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Thanet. Your expertise in bringing the past to life will help students engage with their studies and develop the skills to analyse and understand our world.

Key Responsibilities as a History Teacher:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to think critically, challenge assumptions, and develop a love for learning.
• Utilise diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation.

Requirements for the Role of History Teacher:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver the History curriculum effectively.
• Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
