- Managing a caseload in line with the Social Care Capability Framework (SCCF).
- Conducting assessments and reviews, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
- Building partnerships with statutory agencies, voluntary and private sector services.
- Keeping up to date with legislation and local policies, particularly around Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection.
- Attending training to maintain HCPC and SCCF requirements.
- A recognised social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- Ability to manage complex cases and engage effectively with children and families.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, particularly for Looked After Children and Child Protection.
- Ability to work collaboratively with professionals from different sectors.
- Commitment to completing the ASYE standard within 2 years of qualification.
