About us

Pimlico Confectioners is looking for a Junior Sales Account to join the team. With a portfolio of 2 brands (1) Jellies and Gummies, (2) Chocolates, listed in Supermarkets, Independents and trade in the EU and International markets, the brand/team requires someone passionate, energetic and fun to be part of the growth.

Competitive salary, depending on the experience, will be discussed at the interview.

The role

-Key Junior Account Assistant

-Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, phone calls and lead follow ups

-Reporting to the Managing Director

-Managing day to day account related queries on trade and off-trade accounts (Wholesale, Independents, Retail, Supermarkets)

-JSA will be managing current accounts, provide day to day admin, sample requests and support building relationships

-JSA will also be working on events, shows, new business opportunities

-JSA will do research and add value-added information to the growth and opportunity of the brand

-The daily updating and working from an in-house CRM system

-Purely office based at Rossendale head office

Ideal candidate

Will have 2 years of experience in sales and account management in food

Will have experience on and off trade

Will be a self-starter, taking the initiative, passionate and keen to learn and grow.

Will have some passion for social media.

Strong communication skills - verbal, written, listening and understanding

Ability to work on own initiative to achieve monthly targets

Fantastic Customer Service Skills

A chatty, bubbly friendly personality
