Reed Engineering are currently looking for an experienced Team Supervisor, for the Disassembly and Cleaning of Aviation Components for a bespoke Aviation Service and Manufacturing company based in Rayleigh Essex.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include but are not limited to:
- Operational Supervision
- Manage day-to-day operations of the cleaning bay, ensuring optimal workflow and efficient use of resources.
- Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of aerospace components, tools, and equipment according to technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Monitor adherence to established cleaning and decontamination processes, ensuring compliance with standards and certifications.
- Lead, and supervise a team of cleaning technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are knowledgeable about cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and industry updates.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or maintenance environment, preferably in the aerospace or a highly regulated industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills. 路 Familiarity with cleaning equipment, materials, and techniques used in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including COSHH and MSDS requirements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
6 years of relevant/technical work experience and 3+ years of leadership experience. Alternatively, 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
Hands-on experience with advanced cleaning technologies such as ultrasonic or vapor degreasing systems.
