Robertson Bell is delighted to be working with a fantastic charity recruit a Financial Controller on a fully remote basis. This pivotal role will ensure robust financial management and reporting during a crucial period of transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including management and statutory reporting.
  • Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with charity SORP and all relevant regulations.
  • Manage and develop the finance team, providing strategic leadership.
  • Act as a key liaison with auditors, trustees, and senior leadership.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience)
  • Strong experience in a financial leadership role within the charity sector.
  • Proven ability to manage month-end, year-end, and external audits.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.
