Robertson Bell is delighted to be working with a fantastic charity recruit a Financial Controller on a fully remote basis. This pivotal role will ensure robust financial management and reporting during a crucial period of transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including management and statutory reporting.
- Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with charity SORP and all relevant regulations.
- Manage and develop the finance team, providing strategic leadership.
- Act as a key liaison with auditors, trustees, and senior leadership.
The successful candidate will have:
- A full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience)
- Strong experience in a financial leadership role within the charity sector.
- Proven ability to manage month-end, year-end, and external audits.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
- The ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.
