We are currently working with a successful business based in the Reading area who are seeking someone to join them as an Finance Assistant on a temporary basis for 3-6 months.
We are looking for someone to join on a temporary basis, within an established forward thinking business that provides a team-orientated working environment. Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role, knowledge of basic accounting principles, strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Duties include;
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Chase & follow up outstanding invoices
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Help maintain the company management system
- Create credit notes
- Support the finance team with various administrative tasks
