Hours: Mon-Fri, 09:00 - 17:00 (1-hour lunch)Salary: £25,000 - £28,000(dependent on experience)
My client has engaged Reed to look for an Administrator for one of their key departments seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join their team in Reading Town Centre. This vital team member will play a crucial role in managing the coordination and logistics of heavy goods, making it an ideal position for someone from the logistics industry.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Keeping operational trackers up to date
- Handling customer and supplier requests
- Processing EU move documents
- Managing supplier invoicing and weekend tasks
- Providing excellent customer service and status updates
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics or a related field
- Customer service experience
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Team player with a 'can do' attitude
- Confidence in dealing with logistics suppliers
