Location: Reading Town Centre

Employment Type: Permanent

Hours: Mon-Fri, 09:00 - 17:00 (1-hour lunch)Salary: £25,000 - £28,000(dependent on experience)

My client has engaged Reed to look for an Administrator for one of their key departments seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join their team in Reading Town Centre. This vital team member will play a crucial role in managing the coordination and logistics of heavy goods, making it an ideal position for someone from the logistics industry.

  • Liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Keeping operational trackers up to date
  • Handling customer and supplier requests
  • Processing EU move documents
  • Managing supplier invoicing and weekend tasks
  • Providing excellent customer service and status updates

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in logistics or a related field
  • Customer service experience 
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Team player with a 'can do' attitude
  • Confidence in dealing with logistics suppliers
