Our client has an exciting opportunity for for a Business Account Manager to join the team in the Southern Region. You will join them on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary + benefits.

As the UK market leading Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom fitted furniture manufacturer, they have had unsuppressed growth over the last 50 years, with an emphasis on providing a high standard of products and service. They are currently seeking the very best people, to further strengthen our position within the industry by appointing dedicated individuals to share in their success.

The Business Account Manager role:

They are looking for a self-motivated individual who has the communication and coordination skills to support the New Business Manager in the area, covering West London across to Reading / Basingstoke down to the South Coast area. The ideal candidate will live within the area.  

The key responsibilities of their Business Account Manager will include:

  • Actively supporting the New Business Manager with assisting in the management of our larger and more complex accounts.
  • Assisting on all elements of account management with selected key customers prior to and including active sites.
  • Dealing with design queries and specification changes and submitting these to the relevant internal departments to action
  • Dealing with ongoing changes to active sites and action accordingly.
  • Working closely with the team to ensure that customers are getting excellent service and they are maximising market share from all customers they deal with.
  • Building relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Ensuring business growth from existing customer base is maximised.

In order to succeed in this Business Account Manager role, you must have:

  • The desire to build a career and succeed in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills and be computer literate.
  • A full UK driving licence, as travel within the area and throughout the UK, when relevant, will be required.
  • CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test and hold the relevant site visitor card.

You will be:

  • Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels to help develop and maintain existing relationships with Architects, Specifiers, Designers, Site/Project Managers, Buyers and Senior Managers.
  • Able to handle multiple projects positively.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and able to maintain deadlines.
  • Willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
