A leading architectural firm in Reading is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, including retail, commercial, and residential developments.

The successful Senior Architectural Technologist will have significant experience post qualification and will have excellent technical abilities. You will be confident leading a team, mentoring junior team members and managing your own projects.

Skills, Responsibilities and Experience for the role of Senior Architectural Technologist:

  • A relevant degree or an HNC/HND in Architectural Technology
  • Significant experience post qualification
  • Strong knowledge of current UK building regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Lead and manage the technical delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings and detailed design packages using Revit.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, and external consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technologists and technicians.
  • Attend site visits and liaise with contractors to resolve technical issues.
