Warranty & Service Administrator£28k - £32k + Bonus

Commercial Main Dealership!Monday to Friday!Reading Area

I'm currently working with a client who is seeking a Warranty & Service Administrator to join their busy team.

This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative skills and experience in the automotive sector, particularly with service and warranty procedures.

Main Purpose of the Job:

You’ll be responsible for overseeing service, warranty, and PFL invoice procedures to ensure compliance with the manufacturer's policies, while maximizing profitability for each repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing all service, warranty, and PFL job cards, ensuring full compliance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Raising pro-forma invoices for quotations and liaising with customers
  • Reconciling warranty and PFL self-billing invoices (SBIs)
  • Investigating and resolving customer account queries
  • Conducting risk assessments on warranty and PFL claims
  • Managing work-in-progress (WIP) levels, ensuring they stay below 250 hours
  • Liaising with the workshop and parts department to resolve any discrepancies
  • Submitting and managing warranty claims in line with manufacturer requirements
  • Processing non-warranty repairs and ensuring they are recharged to the correct accounts

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in warranty/service administration within the motor trade
  • Familiarity with systems like Haddenham and GDMS (beneficial)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
