My clients brand-new Entertainment Centre in Reading are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic bar staff to join their team! With a vibrant mix of bar and food, a fantastic amusement arcade, Karaoke, Pool, Augmented Reality Darts, VR, and much more, this is your chance to work in a fun and engaging environment

Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving drinks, ensuring a clean and welcoming bar area, and providing a friendly atmosphere for customers. If you have a passion for bartending and hospitality, I would love to hear from you.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £23,000 - £24,000 per annum

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week

Experience:

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
• Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
• Work Location: In person / Reading Town Centre 

Duties:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any queries or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
• Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering supplies when necessary.
• Handle cash and card terminal transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours.

Requirements:

• Food Hygiene qualification
• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
