Huntswood is looking for a talented complaint handler looking to move into our busy advisory team to support clients with the financial services industry. This great opportunity to join our busy and successful advisory team, based out of our Central Reading Head office.

The Opportunity

The Advisory team advises and assists clients manage risk in accordance with regulatory requirements. You'll act as an ambassador for Huntswood working of group and solo assignments to help forms raise their standards and protect their reputations.

This role will also allow you develop you experience across all finance sectors, and you'll have the support to gain relevant qualifications to help you in your role.

You'll be based in our Reading Head office on a hybrid basis but will travel to client sites across the country.

Is the role right you?

We're looking for an experience complaint handler who is motivated and ready to develop their skills and experience within this ever-changing financial services sector. You'll be an excellent communicator and confident to convey technical information to all levels of stakeholders. You'll need to adapt to change well and develop and learn to support your clients and the wider Huntswood business.

Other skills needed include:

  • 1-2 years of experience in complaint/case handling within Financial Services
  • Financial Ombudsman Experience is desirable but not necessary
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Interest in or developing knowledge of Financial Services regulation
  • Be working, or planning to work, towards financial qualifications across Insurance or Consumer Credit sectors which would be funded by Huntswood.
  • Ability to work as a team and autonomously
