Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 2 Driver for our client based in Reading.
Class 2 Driver Benefits:
- Pay: Up to 16 per hour plus o/t rates
- Location: Reading, RG2
- Hours: 7am to finish (core hours 7am to 4pm) - flexibility required
- Monday to Friday and occasional weekends
- Some occasional overnight stays - fully expensed by the client
- Start date: Week commencing 22nd April 2025
- Contract: Temporary ongoing - potential to become permanent for the right person
Class 2 Driver role:
Required to drive Class 2 and 7.5 tonne vehicles, delivering and carrying out basic installation of outdoor furniture to locations around the UK.
Class 2 Driver Duties:
- Driving Class 2 and 7.5 tonne vehicle - vehicle has to be left on site so you will need your own transport to get to and from the depot
- Basic on site installation of furniture, benches, tables, planters and booth seating
- Using hand tools
- Provide excellent customer service when delivering goods
- Handling driver dockets and paperwork
- Avoiding damages to stock through proper manual handling
- Daily checking of delivery vehicles
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Must be flexible with hours
- Strong work ethic
- Be able to work using own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Be a team player
Class 2 Driver Criteria:
- Full UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement
- CPC Card and Digi tacho card
- No more than 3 points on your driving licence
- Excellent driving skills
- Excellent navigation and route planning skills
- Willingness to work on site as well as driving
- Strong customer service and time management skills
- No unspent convictions as the role requires s basic DBS check
