Pro-Found Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Driver for a client located in Reading, offering a pay rate of up to £16 per hour plus overtime.
The position requires candidates to have a full UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement, along with a CPC Card and Digi tacho card.
The role involves driving Class 2 and 7.5 tonne vehicles, basic installation of outdoor furniture, and providing excellent customer service.

This is a temporary ongoing contract with the potential to become permanent, starting the week of April 22, 2025, and requires a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 2 Driver for our client based in Reading.

Class 2 Driver Benefits:

Pay: Up to £16 per hour plus o/t rates
Location: Reading, RG2
Hours: 7am to finish (core hours 7am to 4pm) - flexibility required
Monday to Friday and occasional weekends
Some occasional overnight stays - fully expensed by the client
Start date: Week commencing 22nd April 2025
Contract: Temporary ongoing - potential to become permanent for the right person

Class 2 Driver role:

Required to drive Class 2 and 7.5 tonne vehicles, delivering and carrying out basic installation of outdoor furniture to locations around the UK.

Class 2 Driver Duties:

Driving Class 2 and 7.5 tonne vehicle - vehicle has to be left on site so you will need your own transport to get to and from the depot
Basic on site installation of furniture, benches, tables, planters and booth seating
Using hand tools
Provide excellent customer service when delivering goods
Handling driver dockets and paperwork
Avoiding damages to stock through proper manual handling
Daily checking of delivery vehicles
Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Must be flexible with hours
Strong work ethic
Be able to work using own initiative
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Be a team player

Class 2 Driver Criteria:

Full UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement
CPC Card and Digi tacho card
No more than 3 points on your driving licence
Excellent driving skills
Excellent navigation and route planning skills
Willingness to work on site as well as driving
Strong customer service and time management skills
No unspent convictions as the role requires s basic DBS check
