Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our team at our vibrant Italian pizzeria & restaurant. You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high-quality food preparation, ensuring our authentic Italian dishes are consistently delicious.

Key Responsibilities of our Sous Chef:
- Assist the Head Chef in the daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service
- Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes, including pizzas, pasta, and traditional mains
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise waste
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organisation
- Step in to manage the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a professional kitchen environment
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Team player with excellent leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
- Knowledge of Italian food or willingness to learn
