Working for one of the world's leading networking and wireless technology manufacturers, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to support their sales team and growth within the hospitality market. Based in Reading.

Commutable Locations: Reading, Basingstoke

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will focus on the Hospitality sector to join the UK sales team. As market leaders in the consumer and SMB networking space we are looking for a driven, dynamic and ambitious professional to further enhance the sales UK team and bring new opportunities to the business.

In addition, you'll be responsible for:

· Developing business within the UK Hospitality sector utilising existing customer relationships, market research and internal data. This will require detailed planning, competitive analysis, customer profiling and engagement, and execution of comprehensive sales and marketing plans.

· Understanding how the Hospitality supply chain works and key customers within Distribution, System integrators and end users. Hospitality sectors include Hotels, Restaurants, Shopping centres, Coffee shops, Bars/Pubs, Sporting venues, Holiday Parks, Travel & Tourism etc.

· Developing a strong pipeline of sales opportunities within targeted customers and providing regular feedback to the management team on open opportunities, forecasting and quarterly plans.

· Primary focusing on SMB/Enterprise solutions, with competency to present, train and educate customers on Hospitality focused solutions.

· Cross selling from competitive brands and work closely with the internal technical and marketing department to build suitable customer propositions.

About you: Business Development Manager

This individual must have a solid background in developing Hospitality customers in the IT industry and have a proven track record of success.

We are looking for someone who has experience in IT sales, working either for an IT Reseller/ MSP or IT Vendor would be ideal.

You'll be highly driven, passionate and have previous experience proactively developing sales opportunities.

This is a team focused role; you'll need to have excellent communication skills and be a solid team player.
