POST- are looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager for an incredibly successful market-leader.

This role is all about new business. Our client has an outstanding Account Management Team, but there is still so much new business available for this division that they need support to win this.

This is a remote and field-based role, so the successful candidate will need to be based in the South of England.

What you’ll be doing as a Business Development Manager:

  • Prospecting and securing new customers, achieving sales targets
  • Building strong industry relationships and ensuring customer understanding of our clients’ products.
  • Managing customer billing, administration, and support with internal teams.
  • Analysing data in review meetings to help customers understand their market.
  • Resolving customer queries, managing external relationships, and embodying our clients’ values.
  • Maintaining CRM accuracy, and manage a mix of field and virtual customer meetings with effective travel planning.
  • Engaging in self-development and ongoing training while actively collaborating with your team and manager.

What we need to see from you:

  • 3+ years minimum experience in a field-based Business Development Manager role
  • Experience of selling a high value, market-leading service
  • Experience of dealing with complex data
  • Experience planning a patch or sales territory
  • Proven experience of overcoming price objections. Ideally you will come from an industry where you can’t negotiate on price
  • B2B sales experience is essential
  • You’ll have experience successfully applying a sales methodology, such as Challenger, SPIN, SNAP etc

  • £45,000 - £50,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
