Due to their rapid growth, they are now seeking a Sales Manager to join their busy team based in Berkshire.

HYBRID ROLE 2 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE.

You will be a specialist Commercial / Business Relocations Sales professional who knows how to estimate, plan and cost commercial moves. The career progression plan in place will see you develop and grow into a Head of Division position within time, so we are looking for ambitious and hard-working Individuals who are looking to move up the career ladder.

You will manage move projects from estimate to completion for multiple clients, as well as oversee furniture sales, procurement, and installation. You will be an effective communicator, able to add value, and drive moves and furniture sales to meet and exceed targets.

You must be confident in communicating with senior management and excel at building relationships. You will be responsible for our clients' move and furniture projects from start to end, bringing experience and a keen eye for detail. The role involves regular travel to meet with clients and visit work sites.

A background in Commercial Moves is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

Moves:

  • Estimate the requirements of moves
  • Ensure that all moves are delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality & regulative standards.
  • Compile Works Programmes / Resource & Activity Schedules, as required
  • Work with moves team and external moves managers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to customers based on the brief provided
  • Identify and highlight any risks, ensure that these are eliminated at the first instance.
  • Always communicate effectively with clients, contract teams and internal staff.
  • Review all finances on projects to ensure that they are correct and maintain profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lines of revenue
  • Attend client meetings where appropriate.
  • Manage all deliverables in line with the project plan.
  • Record and manage any issues and escalate where necessary.
  • Resolve issues arising.
  • Monitor & report on progress and performance.
  • Have a good understanding of Health & Safety best practice.

Furniture:

  • Source and purchase furniture for commercial interiors projects whilst liaising between project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation
  • Attend meetings with design/project teams as required
  • Develop furniture specifications with design team for each project
  • Produce pricing schedules for all projects
  • Undertake showroom visits with clients/designers
  • Transact all furniture orders and acknowledgments
  • Arrange logistics & coordinate all furniture deliveries/installations
  • Attend larger installation projects to oversee completion
  • Accountable for overseeing all aspects of quality control, resolving any issues that arise, and ensuring complete client satisfaction with our products and services to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Continually develop and expand robust & reliable supply chain relationships

Attributes:

  • It is essential that you come from a moves background
  • Competent at estimating moves
  • A team player with a high level of self-motivation and organisational ability.
  • Relevant operational experience of leading and managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand the key financial and labour needs of a project.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to resolve day to day operational needs and identify opportunities for increasing the level of profitable business.
  • Good reporting Skills
  • Ability to forecast and present forecasts and sales to the SMT.
  • Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems Including (but not limited too) Excel, Microsoft project and PowerPoint.
