Position: New Business Development Manager (Full-Time, Permanent)

Location: Reading, UK

Role Overview: Step into a pivotal role as a New Business Development Manager, where you’ll be the key link between our client’s groundbreaking products and their valued customers. Your mission will include:

  • Engaging with customers to deliver bespoke product solutions.
  • Identifying and visiting new customers to unlock sales opportunities.
  • Driving sales to not just meet but exceed annual company targets.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience selling to OEM customers in the UK.
  • A proven track record of stellar sales performance.
  • Exceptional sales, communication, and rapport-building skills.
  • Experience in arranging and attending customer visits.
  • A knack for generating new sales leads and opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Technical understanding of product details.
  • Experience in the motion control industry is a plus.
  • Mechanical and Electronics Engineering degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car (required for customer visits up to 50% of working time).
  • Must reside in the UK, with a focus on Southern UK but opportunities to cover the whole UK and Ireland.
