  • Conduct thorough testing of fire dampers to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of fire damper systems.
  • Identify and rectify faults or issues in fire dampers and related systems.
  • Provide detailed reports on testing results and any corrective actions taken.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Work closely with project managers and clients to meet project deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and fire safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in fire damper testing or a similar role in the fire safety industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire damper systems, testing procedures, and relevant regulations (e.g., BS 9999, BS 9990).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications in fire damper testing or fire safety (preferred but not essential).
  • Full UK driving license (required for site visits).
