My client, a global consultancy are looking forCloud Security Engineer to play a pivotal role in securing cutting-edge global cloud projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation, where you will develop and implement world-class cloud security solutions, ensuring robust protection across complex, multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the security implementation of global cloud projects across various technologies.
  • Develop and engineer cloud security policies, ensuring proactive threat prevention, detection, and forensic analysis.
  • Architect security solutions for containerised environments and microservices (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Build and integrate security solutions into DevSecOps pipelines, collaborating with global teams.
  • Perform cloud threat modelling and implement countermeasures.
  • Assess third-party cloud and on-premises solutions for security risks and recommend mitigations.
  • Design and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor security compliance and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide security architecture guidance and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • 8+ years in information security, with a strong focus on Technical Cyber Security.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network and cloud security.
  • Expertise in multi-cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and security frameworks (AWS Well-Architected, TOGAF, CSA, NIST).
  • Hands-on experience with container security (Kubernetes, ECS, Docker) and cloud posture management tools (Prisma Cloud, Rapid7).
  • Deep knowledge of cloud identity & access management, network security, and workload protection.
  • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with AI security frameworks and securing cloud-based AI services.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or .NET.
  • Industry certifications preferred (CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, SANS, or equivalent).
