DevOps Manager – Lead Innovation in Secure Cloud Solutions!Join us as our new DevOps Manager and help drive the development, deployment, and security of a robust cloud collaboration platform trusted by clients in government, healthcare, and defence sectors. Here, you’ll shape resilient, scalable infrastructure that supports national projects of critical importance. The role is remote but there is a need to go to the office once or twice a month, as such a location along the M4 corridor would be ideal.In this role, you’ll lead the design, deployment, and optimization of our infrastructure. Working with development, security, and product teams, you’ll drive CI/CD pipeline automation, ensure robust architecture, and champion a DevOps culture of continuous improvement. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on engineering, ideal for a proactive leader with expertise in cloud platforms, IaC, and secure infrastructure.Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have the ability to be security cleared to a high level, as such must have been in the UK for the last 5 years and not been outside of the UK for a period of 28 days or more in one go in the last 5 years.Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect Resilient Systems: Design and maintain high-availability, secure, and scalable infrastructure to meet client needs.
  • Automate Deployment Processes: Implement and optimize CI/CD workflows, manage staging environments, and drive efficient code deployment.
  • Champion Security: Oversee infrastructure security, implement vulnerability scans, manage SSL, and collaborate with third-party testers for periodic assessments.
  • Mentor and Innovate: Shape our DevOps culture, lead automation initiatives, and mentor team members in best practices.
  • Monitoring and Support: Build proactive monitoring systems, conduct root cause analysis, and support incident management.

  • Deep experience in software application development and cloud platforms
  • Expert understanding of DevOps, security standards like ISO27001, and infrastructure as code
  • Ability to prototype and implement new tools and services with agility and a security-first mindset
