Our client is a repuatble energy company across the UK. They are seeking an experienced Azure Data Migration Specialist to migrate data within Azure, from blob storage to Cosmos DB. The role will rewrite the back end of an existing application for better stability, supportability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data migration plans using Azure Data Factory and related technologies.
- Conduct data migration trials and troubleshoot issues.
- Execute reconciliation tests to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for successful data migration.
- Document migration processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience in data migration, focused on Azure solutions.
- Proficient with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Migration Service, Storage Blob and Azure Cosmos DB (mandatory)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
