Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with ASC, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour in both classroom and one-on-one settings.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
• Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic support.
• Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
• Provide emotional and behavioural support to students as needed.

Requirements:

• A background in psychology, mental health, or a related field.
• Experience working with children or young people with ASC, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
