A specialist school in Reading is seeking a dedicated individual to join their SEN team, supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. As a Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will use your skills and enthusiasm to motivate and inspire students, helping them overcome barriers to learning while developing their confidence, teamwork, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to children with SEMH needs, fostering emotional regulation and social skills.
• Leverage your sports background to promote teamwork, discipline, and positive engagement.
• Work closely with teachers and SEN professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage challenging behaviours with patience and a calm, proactive approach.
• Act as a positive role model, inspiring students to reach their potential both inside and outside the classroom.
