Description

The Associate Director will lead the Accounts & Tax team for their new offices in Berkshire.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing an small established Accounts, Tax and Bookkeeping team
  • Managing an established general practice client portfolio providing Accounting, Tax and Advisory services.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the provision of high-quality professional services to clients and compliance with legal, ethical and statutory regulations.
  • Drive efficiency and profitability, ensuring best practice and utilising technology
  • Training and support of junior staff; leading the development and progression of the team
  • Supporting with business development and the growth of the firm

Profile

The successful applicant will have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in Accounts & Tax within a professional services firm
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
