Reed Practice are proud to be working with an independent firm of chartered accountants operating in the Thames Valley for over 100 years with a client base covering a wide variety of sectors. They are currently looking for an Audit Manager to join their Audit and Accounts department.
Reporting directly to Partners, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion; managing people and the delivery of assignments, budgets and billing.
- Support the Partners by helping to manage a client base, often acting as the primary point of contact.
- Take a leadership role in the management of department resources and workflow, as well as being a role model to others in the team
- Establish strong and successful relationships with clients through effective communication.
- Contribute to team success by motivating and assisting with supervision and training of junior team members
- Continued development of skillset and knowledge through self-study supported by our in-house training and development programme
- Ad-hoc project work as required
Skills Required:
- ACCA/ACA Qualified with at least 4 years experience in practice
- Previous experience of operating at Assistant Manager/Manager level.
- Ability to take a hands-on approach
- Experience of working with SME/owner-managed businesses
- Excellent communication and collaboration skillsÂ
