About the role

If you an audit professional who passionate about delivering high quality client service, our Audit Manager opportunity in Reading could be a brilliant next chapter in your Audit career.

Acting as a mentor, leader and expert across our growing Audit team, you will manage a varied client portfolio that has seen significant growth over the course of the last 4 years. In fact, headcount in our audit team has grown by 100% since y/e March 2020. Whilst the technical expertise and experience to skilfully advise your clients, deliver great audit services and capably guide your team is important - it’s the drive, ambition, personality and values that we’re most interested in. Being a crucial pillar of our team’s growth strategy will require exceptional interpersonal skills and competencies - not just brilliant audit experience.

About you

You will be able to evidence strong technical knowledge of auditing and different accounting standards across a varied range of client types and sizes, with a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and great career experience to back this up.

You’ll also be an intuitive advisor, demonstrating a sharp commercial acumen allowing you to create innovative solutions for your clients and colleagues. You’ll find it easy to build and maintain great professional relationships with people from all sorts of backgrounds, leveraging these relationships skilfully to identify and exploit opportunities to develop new business.

You’ll be a credible and inspiring leader who enjoys cultivating talent. Motivating colleagues and your team, you’ll have exemplary skills of mentoring and encouragement that will help you guide the emergent careers of our future leaders.
