Corporate Finance Manager / Lead Advisory Manager - SUPERB ROLE

McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a highly regarded Top15 Accountancy Firm who are looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager to work in their growing Lead Advisory team. Encompassing deal origination, structuring and execution, research and analysis, valuation and modelling (buy & sell side across all sectors), you will gain exposure to a range of clients, transaction structures and business development activities. Key duties include:

  • Responsibility for day-to-day management of specific corporate finance engagements within your portfolio
  • Managing lead advisory project timetables and staff resourcing
  • Coaching and training junior members of the corporate finance staff
  • Interacting across the business to form a strong management peer group that communicate and share knowledge around key issues impacting business performance
  • Developing your own network of contacts that are incremental to existing firm relationships
  • Demonstrate an ability to win work for the lead advisory team and the wider business through client interaction (new & existing)
  • Determine project scoping and resource requirements, attending initial client meetings and deal structuring
  • Preparing client reports and other written documents with review points for the Partner, capturing all key issues
  • Using strong Excel and Financial Modelling skills to analyse and prepare future forecast financial information and business planning
  • Dealing with client & third party queries including law firms, funders/banks, PE houses and other accounting firms for buy & sell side transactions

To be considered for the Corporate Finance Manager role you should ideally be degree-educated and an ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with relevant transaction experience either from another Accounting firm or CF Boutique. You should have strong financial analysis, structuring & modelling skills and bring commercial awareness/acumen to the role. Lead advisory experience in a similar market would be preferable, and you should possess strong interpersonal and project-management skills, and be able to demonstrate initiative in delivering positive outcomes for clients.

The firm is also looking for people who are very entrepreneurial by nature, can manage conflicting urgent priorities, enjoy business development and building client relationships. On offer is a base salary up to £65,000 + bonus + flexible benefits.
