Business Operations & Finance ManagerSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annumLocation: Reading

We are seeking a skilled Business Operations & Finance Manager to lead our office operations and finance functions. You will oversee a small team handling finance and sales administration, focusing on optimising processes and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, petty cash, and multi-currency transactions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR enquiries, including tracking and logging holiday leave, and preparing payroll data for our external provider.
  • Oversee office supplies management, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with office policies.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts; work closely with external accountants on VAT returns and other filings.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records using SAGE50.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a management role with a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in SAGE50 and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
