We are seeking a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager for a permanent position for a leading Practice firm based in Reading. The ideal candidate will bring a keen understanding of corporate taxation and a proven record of providing excellent client service.

Description

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their tax computations are prepared to a high standard, on a timely basis.
  • Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve tax-related issues, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks for clients.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff members.
  • Support the Tax Partners and Managers on complex technical assignments.

Profile

A successful Corporate Tax Assistant Manager should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional tax or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in corporate tax compliance services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven project management skills.
