Group CFO - HealthTech - c.£200k + bonus + equity.

Cedar have been retained by a mid-market Private Equity Firm to find a Group CFO for a c.£50m revenue business in the HealthTech space.

This growing group of 4 operating companies has been on an exciting growth journey - both organically and through bolt-on acquisitions giving it operations across the UK&I, with a client facing CEO/Founder who is passionate about the business and has managed to secure PE backing to accelerate their journey.

This is a board level Group CFO role, partnering the CEO, Chief Commercial Officer and an impressive PE firm - with true influence in shaping the future strategic direction of the company and Finance teams, as they work towards a sale over the next 3 years.

The CEO needs a high-energy and commercial CFO to help drive value creation; experienced in M&A - leading transactions and integrations; has supported a business sale including preparing IMs & FDD; and experienced in managing PE Fund relationships and reporting.

This is a hands-on role managing a Finance team of 8 (plus 4 in HR), owning the Group consolidation, and Audit and Banking relationships, but with real influence on the Board and Commercial Deals - supported by a well-run PE firm who are known for nurturing talent and providing lucrative returns for their management teams.

You will need the following experience to be successful applying for this role:

  • Experience in a number 1 Finance role as Finance Director/CFO, in a multi-entity Private Equity backed business.
  • Experience preparing IMs and FDD for a business sale and refinancing.
  • Good modelling experience, including 3 statement preparation (BS + P&L + Cashflow).
  • Experience managing banking covenants, Audit, Legal and Banking relationships.
