Finance Business Partner

My client is a Local Authority in Berkshire who are looking to appoint a talented Finance Business Partner onan Interim basis are working with Spencer Clarke Group to find their next successful candidate.

What's on offer:

  • Rate of Pay: £500 - £600 per day, inside IR35.

*negotiable based on experience

  • Hybrid working (1-2 days a month in office)
  • Contract type: Contract (37hrs a week)
  • Hours: 09:00 -17:30 Monday to Friday

About the role:

Based in Berkshire (Hybrid):

  • This role will be providing Finance Business Partner support within the Department of Economic Growth and Neighbourhood services,.
  • The role will support budget managers in providing monthly budget forecasts of the Expenditure and Income position, feeding into the Council's Budget Monitoring reports.
  • The role will also have a general financial advice and support to budget holders on all aspects of the Finance function.

About you:You will have the following experience:

  • CCAB (or equivalent) qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience
  • Extensive experience of working within local government finance as a business partner (ideally with direct experience supporting Environment services - planning, transport. public protection or Waste Disposal/sustainability ideally.
