Interim FP&A Manager - 6 month interim role - Reading with hybrid working

Our client, a growing organisation, seeks and Interim FP&A Manager for a 6 month interim contract.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting - Leading the budgeting and reforecasting processes, embedding a rolling forecast approach, and ensuring key financial insights inform business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis - Overseeing month-end reporting, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards to provide senior stakeholders with valuable insights.
  • Business Partnering - Working closely with the finance and wider leadership teams to provide financial guidance and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Project Involvement - Supporting key business projects, improving automation, and continuously enhancing FP&A tools and processes.
  • Team Leadership - Managing and mentoring a small team

Due to the interim nature of the role, only applicants who are available on 2 weeks notice or less will be considered.

Skills/Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Line management experience
