Senior Finance Analyst - Cost Management and Management Reporting

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Finance Analyst to join our clients dynamic finance team. This role focuses on Cost Management and Management Reporting, providing critical financial insights and supporting stakeholders across the business.
You will be responsible for month-end processes, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Management
- Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to complete month-end journals and prepare management reporting packs, including in-depth analysis and commentary to explain the story behind the numbers.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and deliver reporting used to communicate performance to our shareholder.
- Manage quarterly forecast processes, including Smartview uploads, building reporting packs, and providing meaningful commentary and analysis for Finance Business Partners.
- Partner with business teams and Finance Business Partners to identify and understand month-end or forecast changes.
- Support external auditors by assisting with testing and resolving queries related to your areas of responsibility.
Internal and Shareholder Reporting
- Responsible for internal sales reporting and rolling-forward, refreshing and reconciling monthly and quarterly Shareholder reporting (incl. KBI's).
What we're looking for
- Part-qualified (close to completion) or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Demonstrated experience in reporting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Experience with Alteryx and Smartview is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel;
- Willingness to learn new tools and systems.
- Strong ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Understanding of business operations and cost drivers is beneficial.
