PMO Manager

One of the most well-known defence project in the UK is looking to bring on a PMO manager to work on some of the most prestigious projects in the sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a PMO manager to work on a massive project in defence/nuclear sector.

• Job Title - PMO Manager
• Location - Reading 2/3 days a week
• Contract Length - 18 Months
• Pay Rates - £63.43 an hour (Inside IR35)

Key responsibilities:

• To manage the schedules effectively and integrate schedules for transition. This will include proactive management of all project deliverables and escalations  when needed
• Management of project risks proactively (RAIDO) and programme master data and assumptions lists (MDAL).
• Ensure site and project meets the quality assurance laid out correctly and implement any changes that are needed and all risks highlighted swiftly.
• Manage all information and implement management plans ensuring the right people have access and are held accountable where needed.

Expected qualifications:

• Evidence of when you have successfully lead cross-functional teams in moderately complex programmes
• A proven tack record in project delivery
• Experience in the full suite of Microsoft office
• Motivating and managing in a highly regulated environment
• Membership of a relevant professional body
• Evidence of project management competence e.g. APM qualifications
