ROLE PURPOSE

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Management apprenticeship tutor who can drive the design of the new curriculum, deliver the pilot courses, and take part in building a team of Professional Skills Coaches as the programme grows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the scope, milestones, and deliverables for the L4 Project Management apprenticeship programs

Design, produce and implement a Scheme of Learning including relevant content and teaching that ensures all learners gain new skills, knowledge, and behaviours to successfully pass their End Point Assessment

Design high-quality & robust assessment activities to ensure learners can demonstrate an excellent understanding relevant theory & development of skills & behaviours as aligned to the apprenticeship standard

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including apprentices, trainers, and organisational leaders, to ensure alignment with program objectives.

Remote teaching: Design and deliver interactive and engaging remote teaching sessions on key learning objectives as defined by the Scheme of Learning

Business Development: Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure the successful launch of the programme with new and existing clients

Delivery: Provide exemplary support and motivation for a cohort of adult learners ensuring timely progression in their apprenticeship as well as the best possible outcome for the learner

Planning: Deliver robust planning of the learning journey for each learner to show deliberate and well-planned progress from their starting point including tailoring additional/catch-up solutions for learners, recognising individual needs, extra support, and personal goals

Line Manager engagement: Engage line managers in the learners’ progression and perform quarterly progress reviews with learners and their line managers to plan and evidence new skills and behaviours

Safeguarding: Promote safeguarding awareness to learners and adhere to safeguarding principles and policies

Work alongside the Operations Manager to build the first caseload of learners and support the introduction of new team members as the provision grows

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for program enhancement, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of the leadership and management apprenticeship initiatives.

Communication: Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders, communicating progress, challenges, and successes of the apprenticeship program.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Certified Project Management qualification (Level 4 or above).

Experience in delivering the L4 Project Management apprenticeship.

Experience delivering APM PMQ or IMPA recognised qualifications to level D.

Experience in delivering projects in professional environments.

Minimum GCSE A*-C in both English and mathematics or equivalent.

Experience in writing, designing, and implementing apprenticeship standards.
